MCC Women’s Basketball: MCC 94 Holyoke CC 69

HOLYOKE, MA – MCC made it three straight Thursday night with a 94-69 win over the 2007-08 Region XXI Champion Holyoke CC in Holyoke.

The Cougars (3-0) have scored at least 94 points in all three games. Sophomore Amanda Morales (West Hartford) led the way with 25 points including five three-pointers. Jhenel Franklin (Windsor) had 12 rebounds, 12 assists, five steals and seven points. Erika Murphy had 15 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Shanika Hines (Manchester) had 15 points.

Amy Griswold played in her first game after missing the previous two with injuries and scored 11 points, nine coming from three-point range. MCC held a 50-30 halftime lead.

MCC hosts Massasoit CC on Saturday afternoon at East Catholic at 1pm.
