Learning Assistance On Campus and Online
The Academic Support Center is closed for tutoring during spring break, March 11-15.
It will reopen on Monday, March 18.
All services are free to currently enrolled students.
The Academic Support Center offers individual and facilitated small-group tutoring free of charge to current Manchester Community College students in courses they are presently taking.
The Writing Center is a place to write. Tutors are available on a walk-in basis to assist students while they are engaged in the writing process.
Walk-In Math Tutoring
Walk-in math tutoring is an alternative to an individual appointment with a mathematics tutor. Tutors are available on a walk-in basis.
eTutoring is available online to Manchester Community College students in writing, mathematics, accounting, biology, chemistry, psychology, Western civilization, information literacy and research methods.
Quick Tips Workshop Series
Need to brush up on skills? Short on time? Come to the Quick Tips Workshops for bite-sized chunks of information on important academic and life skills, such as reading and note-taking strategies, time management and stress reduction. Each session runs about half an hour on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. Ask for room LRC A121 at the library circulation desk. ESL Conversation/Grammar Lab
Faculty and tutors lead an open discussion designed for students wishing to engage in dialog for the purpose of strengthening their English comprehension and verbal skills.
