OAA Lecture: "Whose Side Are You On?"

That's the question every person in Connecticut had to answer in 1775, as the 13 colonies began a rebellion against British rule. Come hear this Organization of Active Adults (OAA) lecture delivered by Natalie Belanger, MCC history adjunct faculty member, as she reveals stories of Nutmeggers who risked and sacrificed to support their chosen side during this "tulmultuous jarring time of civil war." Opening Reception: "Any World That I'm Welcome To" Exhibition

This exhibition features paintings, prints and photographs by five Connecticut artists, each exploring the concept of 'other worlds' or abstracted reality. The exhibit aims to challenge the viewer to see the "known" in new and different ways. Featuring work by Aspasia Anos, Geoffrey Detrani, Joan Fitzsimmons, Lindsey Fyfe and Jason Werner. This exhibit runs through March 4, 2017. The reception and exhibition are open to the public.
