MCC Win Eighth Straight

MANCHESTER – Ericka Sagay (Bloomfield) scored 19 as MCC (19-1) beat Dean College 82-43 Saturday afternoon at the Great Path Academy gym.

Kasiana Goodman (Waterbury) had 14 points and 14 rebounds while Shenielle Duncan Clarke (Bloomfield) had 14 points and 11 steals for MCC, who won its eighth straight game. Rebeca VanGuilder (Hartford) hit three 3-pointers in the first half.

Dean College jumped out to a 6-0 lead, but MCC took control of the game with a 13-2 run midway through the first half and held a 43-22 advantage into the break.

Jessica Stuckey led Dean (9-5) with 15 points, including four 3-pointers.
