MCC Remains Unbeaten (11-0) After 90-33 Win at Bunker Hill

Tambling’s 24 Leads The Way; Sagay, Duncan Clarke, Goodman: Double-Doubles

BOSTON – Callie Tambling (Manchester) had 24 points including five three-point baskets to lead Manchester CC (11-0) to a 90-33 victory over Bunker Hill CC (7-3) Saturday afternoon.

Shenielle Duncan-Clarke (Bloomfield) had 18 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and five steals while Ericka Sagay (Bloomfield) had 15 points, 10 boards, seven blocks and five steals. Kasiana Goodman (Waterbury) had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Tambling’s 24 points were a season-high for the second year player, and tied Sagay’s 24-point total from November 13th as a season-high for the team. Tambling leads the team with 31 three-pointers and is second in assists with 2.9 per game.

“She made her first three, three-point shots and made them spread the defense a little bit,” assistant coach Peter Harris said of Tambling. “That opened it up a little bit inside for E (Sagay),”

Duncan-Clarke continues to lead all NJCAA Division III players in assists (108/9.8) and steals (67/6.1) while the 6’2” Sagay is fourth the nation in blocks (48/4.1) while averaging team-highs with 16.5 points and 11 rebounds per game.
