MCC Beats Dean College in Home Finale, 76-42

MANCHESTER – Shenielle “Shorty” Duncan-Clarke (Bloomfield) had 13 points and nine assists as Manchester CC beat Dean College 76-42 Saturday afternoon at Great Path Academy gym.

All 12 MCC (20-3) players scored as in the Cougars final regular season game. The NJCAA Division III, Region 21 tournament will be next weekend at Massasoit CC in Brockton, MA.

Sophomores Amanda Colon (New Britain) and Erika Murphy (Torrington) played their last home game for MCC. Colon had 10 points while Murphy had nine after reaching the 300 career rebound mark in Friday’s 74-69 win at UConn-Avery Point. Jazlynn Canino (East Hartford) had nine points and seven rebounds for MCC.

Dean drops to 8-15 on the season.
