Cougars Beat Holyoke 4-0

Mariusz Kurzatkowski (Southington) scored two goals and Giusseppe Panajia (Glastonbury) chipped in with a goal and an assist as MCC (3-0) beat Holyoke CC (1-2-1) 4-0 in Holyoke Tuesday afternoon.

Hami Kara (Wethersfield) and Tony Ettorre (Plainville) split the shutout – Kara made five saves in the first half while Ettorre was called on to make three in the second. Tony Scotti (Bristol) scored the fourth Cougar goal and Frank Busumbu (South Windsor) had a pair of assists.

MCC, who moved up one slot to #3 in the latest NJCAA Division III Poll, hosts Springfield Tech Thursday at 4pm.
