Tambling, Murphy, Sagay trifecta leads the way for MCC
CONCORD, NH – Callie Tambling (Manchester) had 21 points, including five from three-point range to help lead Manchester Community College to 80-55 road victory over New Hampshire Technical Institute Thursday night in Concord, NH.
Ericka Sagay (Bloomfield) had 21 points with 11 rebounds and four blocks while team captain Erica Murphy (Torrington) had 23 points and nine rebounds.
“The first half was amazing,” MCC Head Coach Robert Turner, Jr. said. “They were outstanding. They were talking on defense and moving to their spots.”
MCC (12-2) held a 51-23 after the first twenty minutes when it shot 55% from the field. New Hampshire Tech falls to 6-9.
The Cougars host Southern Maine CC on Sunday at 1 PM at the Great Path Academy gym. The game scheduled for Saturday (January 16th) at Great Path vs. MassBay CC has been canceled.
