MANCHESTER – The Manchester Community College Women’s Basketball team ended its regular season Saturday afternoon with a 66-49 loss to Avery Point at East Catholic. MCC finished the season with a 19-2 record and will participate in the NJCAA Region XXI tournament on March 2nd and 3rd in Holyoke, MA.

Jacqueline Ierardi led Avery Point (16-8) with 14 points. MCC was paced by Tina Pagano with 14 points and former Manchester High standouts Amanda Morales (13) and Shanika Hines (10).

Avery Point held a 34-31 halftime lead and outscored the Cougars 32-18 over the final 20 minutes.
