MCC Graduates Honored for Academic Excellence
Manchester, CT – (June 21, 2006) . . . At its recent commencement ceremony, 644 students graduated from Manchester Community College as part of the 42nd annual Commencement Ceremony. Graduates from 65 towns across Connecticut and seven other states, were awarded associate of science degrees, associate of arts degrees and certificates.
Academic honors were awarded to 172 students. The criteria for academic awards are Summa Cum Laude – 3.9 to 4.0 Grade Point Average; Magna Cum Laude – 3.7 to 3.89 Grade Point Average; and Cum Laude – 3.4 to 3.69 Grade Point Average.
