MCC Foundation Scholarships

The MCC Foundation Scholarship program awards scholarships based on academic achievement, financial need, service to the college and community, or a combination of these factors. Scholarship awards range from $50 to more than $1,000 and are available for both the Spring and Fall semesters.

Who Can Apply?

New and returning students who attend on a full-time or part-time basis and are matriculated in a degree or certificate program at MCC are eligible to apply for scholarships. While a GPA of 2.5 or better is preferred, progress in academics is considered. MCC must be the student’s home school for the applicant to be eligible to receive a scholarship.

One Final Note

Many of the scholarships awarded through the MCC Foundation each year are funded by the generosity of MCC alumni, scholarship donors in our community and other friends of the college. Students who receive a named scholarship are required to write a letter of thanks to the donor who funded their scholarship, letting him or her know the impact the scholarship has had on their academic career. The Institutional Development office will gladly work with each scholarship recipient to ensure that the donor is properly thanked.
