All Advising, Counseling, Transfer, Student Retention (academic coaching, probation, suspension, Fresh Start, PASS), and Displaced Workers Programs (WIOA, TAA, VOC REHAB) services can be accessed online using the following features:

- Google Voice (calls with individual advisors/counselors)
- Webex (individual connection with advisors/counselors and faculty via Insight)
We are still here to assist you with registering for the right courses, building a balanced schedule and reviewing your academic plan. If you are undecided, we want to connect with you online about your interests and future plans. For these reasons, we welcome your questions and/or concerns via the listed academic advising options.
Academic Advising Options
Individual appointments are focused on more complex advising and/or personal issues. You can schedule an individual online advising appointment by accessing Insight (Webex) via your myCommNet student account.

General Studies and Liberal Arts and Sciences AA/AS
Faculty advising available using Insight (while classes are in session)
Faculty advisors from General Studies and Liberal Arts and Sciences AA/AS degree programs are available by appointment, both on-campus and online through Webex. You can sign-up for an appointment by logging into your myCommnet account and clicking on “Insight for Students”. Please see view the quick YouTube instructional video for more information.
Additional Advising Options for Program-Specific Majors
Program Coordinators, Department Chairs, and Faculty Advisors (while classes are in session)
In addition to the above options, you can also contact your program-specific coordinator, department chair, or faculty advisor by scheduling an individual appointment through email. See the directory for contact information.

Your Academic Progress is Available in Degree Works
Use Degree Works to quickly see your progress toward completing a degree or certificate program and provide answers to “What if” scenarios, such as “What if I change my major to the CSCU Pathway Transfer: Business Studies, A.A. because I plan to transfer to Central, Eastern, Southern or Western.” Degree Works produces reports that list the courses you need to take to complete your program.
