The Engineering, Technology and Computer Science department offers a range of degrees covering CAD, Computer Networking, Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology.
The Computer Network Technology degree prepares students for transfer to institutions granting bachelor’s degrees or direct entry into the workforce as a network/system administrator.
Students with a definite interest in networking/system administration are advised to major in Computer Networking, and students with a definite interest in programming are advised to major in Computer Science.

In Fall 2018, MCC will offer National Science Foundation Scholarships to qualified students enrolled in computer science, mathematics and physics programs.
These scholarships give academically talented, but financially needy, students the opportunity to complete an undergraduate degree in any of those programs. In addition to financial aid and academic and research opportunities, students receive additional benefits including mentoring, tutoring, invitations to social events, internships and assistance with job placement.
Scholarships provided through this program will pay up to $6,500 per year for up to two years. Students must be enrolled full time.
