Hirokazu Fukawa is a conceptual artist who works with various media, such as installation, sculpture, video, photos, and drawing. Fukawa’s works often develop from personal matters, but community or social concerns are bridged in the process. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including at numerous university galleries and museums. Born in Japan, he has been working in the United States since 1988 and is an Associate Professor of Sculpture at Hartford Art School, University of Hartford. His show runs through May 7, 2019.
