MCC Releases Workforce Development Catalog for Spring

MANCHESTER, Conn. (December 30, 2020) – Manchester Community College offers non-credit courses in Workforce Development for Spring 2021.

Courses begin on an ongoing basis and run for varying durations. They are designed to provide people interested in shifting careers with a short-term path to new, in-demand job skills. The Workforce Development catalog includes short-term certification courses in allied health, computer technology, English as a Second Language, photography and professional development, which includes real estate licensure classes.

Examples of new course offerings include Social Media Essentials, Introduction to Microsoft Power Platform, Introduction to Microsoft Teams (an increasingly vital tool for working remotely) and Interior Design Basics: Creating the Perfect Home Office Space.

The courses run January through May. All classes are held online unless there is a specific room assigned in the course description. For online courses, a device with a microphone and webcam is needed for live audio/video training.
