Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in a related discipline and 3 years of manufacturing experience and 1 or more years of experience teaching or presenting. Extensive experience in the process of setting up, running and inspecting parts on conventional machines is mandatory. NIMS certification and professional teaching experience is preferred.
An understanding of the mission of the community college and a demonstrated ability to respond to and work with multiple constituencies and involvement in support of a culturally and ethnically diverse population are required.


The Instructor provides comprehensive, hand-on training for conventional machining project assignments associated with the Precision Machining Certificate Program.


Minimum Salary/Compensation

This position is paid per contract hour up to a maximum of 90 hours. The number of hours per week varies.
