Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in English or other related field. Teaching experience at the college level is strongly recommended. Experience in Blackboard. Experience teaching online is preferred.

An understanding of the mission of the community college and a demonstrated ability to respond to and work with multiple constituencies and involvement in support of a culturally and ethnically diverse population are required.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum qualifications as stated must put in writing precisely how their experience has prepared them for the responsibilities of this position.

The English department is currently seeking part-time adjunct instructors to teach English courses, especially ENG* 101 Composition online using Blackboard


Minimum Salary/Compensation

$1,721–$1,851 per semester contact hour
