Mr. Ed Hicks will present a live lecture of interesting stories about eight legendary painters: Picasso, Dali, Warhol, Van Gogh, O'Keefe, Pol-lock, Toulouse-Lautrec and Whistler. He will discuss not only their masterful work, but also their powerful words and colorful lifestyles. This will be a fast-paced presentation that promises to be both informative and entertaining. Visiting Artist Talk: Printmaker Matt Brown

Brown will present a slideshow on Japanese hanga/ukiyo-e woodblock printing. The event is open to the public. The artist worked as a builder and cabinetmaker before turning to printmaking full time in 1995. He is self-taught in the method, which is a non-toxic approach developed during the 18th and 19th centuries using rice paste, pigments and water. Sponsored by Dehn Foundation.

Masterclass by Award-winning Actor and Singer Christopher Sanders

February 28 is the snow date.
Christopher Sanders has performed in venues around the world. Throughout his career, he has had the pleasure of performing with George Hearn, Roddy McDowell, Carol Lawrence, John Raitt, Debbie Boone and Rosemary Clooney. Most recently he received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Sweeney Todd.
