College Career Pathways Roundtable Meeting Policy
College Career Pathways teachers are now required to attend and sign in at all professional development workshops (roundtable meetings). Attendance is critical because the workshops function as faculty meetings for MCC concurrent enrollment courses. They provide opportunities for teachers to stay updated on the college course they are teaching as well as to participate in the intellectual and collegial community of the college. Regular workshop attendance is also a requirement for NEASC accreditation. Teachers who are unable to attend this discipline-specific professional activity for two consecutive years will lose their certification to teach in the CCP program.
Certification will be reinstated when the teacher attends the next scheduled roundtable meeting, usually held the following year.
