College Career Pathways Application

Please read these instructions for completing the application to become a College Career Pathways student and earn college credit.

The application will be open for Concurrent Enrollment HS students (CCP) from October 1,  2019 to October 31, 2019, for students enrolling in the Fall semester and full-year courses. The process will open again from January 9, 2020 to February 8, 2020, for students enrolling in the Spring semester classes. No applications will be accepted after February 8, 2020.

Returning students who have previously applied and/or enrolled in the College Career Pathways program do not need to apply again.

All students must notify classroom teachers and/or school counselors about your intention to take the course for MCC credit so your name will be placed on the course roster submitted to MCC.

When filling out the application it is essential that you have your Social Security Number available and that you enter it accurately.  It is also essential that you use an email address that you check regularly and that you enter it correctly. This is how the college will communicate with you.

During the coming school year, you will receive a College Career Pathways student ID card that includes your Banner ID number. This is your student ID in the Connecticut community college system.  This number stays with you forever and you will need it several times in the next year, so please make a record of it that you can find again.  You will need this number when you take math assessment tests at the end of the year, and also to transfer your credits to another school or enroll at MCC.

Finally, you should be working with your school counselor, teacher or the College Career Pathways Coordinator at your school to make sure you have met all prerequisites and are enrolling in the right class.  Most of the time, MCC course names and the names of the corresponding courses at the high school are different, and it’s not always easy to tell which MCC classes match with the courses at your school.

If you have read this page and reviewed the instructions for completing the application, you can start the College Career Pathways application.
