We know that you have a lot on your plate. And taking time off from work or finding childcare so that you can come to campus to learn more about starting or rebooting your college education are just more barriers to your achieving your goals. That’s why we are offering prospective student information sessions via WebEx. From the comfort of your home, the breakroom at work, or even your car (parked, of course), you can find out what you need to know to get started at MCC. The session will take no more than an hour, with time for questions. You’ll learn about the admissions process, financial aid, choosing a program and registering for classes. Grab your laptop, your tablet or your phone and sign up now for an upcoming session:
Wednesday, December 18, 12 noon
Wednesday, December 18, 7 p.m.
You can also find out more in MCC’s Enrollment Guide; it has all the information you need to get started. And, if you are interested in the credit-bearing Adults in Transition program, the Student Success and First Year Programs office can assist you. If you have taken classes at another institution, the Admissions office can help evaluate your transcript and ensure you receive the maximum number of credits possible at MCC.
At MCC, we believe that the best college experiences occur when there is diversity in the classroom — diversity of age, diversity of experience, diversity of ideas. By encouraging adult students to return to the classroom, and helping them meet their educational and professional goals, all members of the MCC community — other students, faculty and staff — benefit.
