Manchester Community College can help you to get started to achieve your goal! MCC provides a welcoming and supportive learning environment for adult students. Did you know that 31 percent of our students are over the age of 25? More than half of those have dependent children at home and 80 percent are taking classes part-time. Whatever your reason for attending college, we are prepared to help you succeed.
Who is an Adult Learner?
At MCC an adult learner is just about anyone who is not fresh out of high school who carry the demands of family, home, and/or work. You are considered an Adult Learner at MCC if any of the following descriptions characterize you:
- Are financially independent.
- Are a military veteran.
- Have dependents.
- Delayed entry to college by a few years following high school, or started school and have decided to come back after some time off.
- Are working full-time while enrolled.
As an adult learner, we have resources specifically designed to meet your needs. Contact us for more information!
