Cougar Pantry

We serve. We don’t judge.
We don’t gossip.

We serve MCC’s students, faculty and staff so we can all succeed. The Cougar Pantry and Career Clothing Closet is open to all students, faculty and staff who are in need.  The Cougar Pantry can provide emergency bus passes (10-ride, once per semester), food, clothing and resources off-campus for members of the MCC community in need. The Cougar Pantry is located in SSC L149.

The Cougar Pantry provides solutions to temporary problems that can negatively impact your academic career. We also are in the process of creating partnerships with community service providers to address issues off-campus that can interfere with your academic career.

According to MSNBC, Feeding America’s 2014 Hunger in America report estimates that roughly 10 percent of its 46.5 million adult clients are currently students, including about two million people who are attending school full-time. Nearly one-third of those surveyed—30.5 percent—report that they’ve had to choose between paying for food and covering educational expenses at some point in the last year.

Don’t wait until you have to make this choice. Come visit us today!
