Event Details for Employers

Refund Policy: We appreciate your support and understand that cancellations are unavoidable. Full refunds will be provided to any employer that cancels their registration two weeks in advance. Due to incurred expenses, refunds will not be available after this time.

Inclement Weather Policy: Due to production and promotional costs, every effort will be made to hold the event on the designated date. It would take a “snowstorm of the century” to have the planning committee postpone the event. Refunds will not be provided to companies that do not participate due to inclement weather.

Booth Staffing: Companies are encouraged to send more than one represenative to staff a booth. Job-seeker turnout at the MCC Job Fair is typically positive. Companies will make a stronger impression if they have more than one representative. We encourage companies to staff booths for the entire event.

Employer Dress: Company representatives can use their own judgment regarding dress style. Formal business attire to business casual is the recommended dress style.

Food and Refreshments: Employers registered for the event will be provided with a light continental-type breakfast consisting of coffee, juice, water, danish, bagels and fruit.

Booth Setup: Registerd employers will be assigned an eight-foot booth. The booth will contain a six-foot draped table, two chairs and a company sign. Additional chairs are available upon request. The booth setup will have a strong professional appeal. Some companies may choose to setup more elaborate booths. If you plan on bringing a large setup, please notify MCC Career Services so that specific booth placement can be arranged in advance. Electrical service will be available on a limited basis and also arranged in advance. Please request electrical power on the job fair registration form.

Booth Assignments and Layout: The event will be held in the new Great Path Academy Gymnasium. Booth assignment is often developed by date of registration and in alphabetical order.

Booth Setup Time: Employers can arrive at the college any time after 7:30 a.m. to begin booth setup. Staff will be available to provide directions to assigned booths and assist where needed.

Parking: Employers are encouraged to park in the “East” lot which is adjacent to the event. If it is raining, an umbrella and raincoat are recommended. A handcart is advised for those bringing in heavy or cumbersome material.
