** Eligible allied health courses must have prerequisites fulfilled before applying for a scholarship. Your registration form approved by the Allied Health Coordinator must be attached to the application.

Credit-Free Scholarships

Please note: Funding for 2020 Credit-Free Scholarships is still unconfirmed. Please check this web page later in the spring.

These partial scholarships are need-based and apply only to students registering for the workforce development certificate programs listed on the scholarship application. A limited number of partial scholarships for eligible applicants will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please note: awards are only applicable toward the course fee, not textbooks or other course materials, tests or supplies (if required).

Scholarship applicants are required to submit:

  1. Scholarship Application
  2. A statement of need, detailing financial or personal hardship.  Examples of need are: unemployment, underemployment, medical expenses, disability, or other family or personal emergency.
  3. If awarded,  a thank you note or email.
  4. Please be sure to provide a valid email on the application. Correspondence from the Scholarship Committee will be mainly through email.

The Review Committee meets periodically.  Students must be mindful of the start date of the course they’re applying for.
