Dr. Carol Curchoe Burton ’00, a native of South Windsor now based in San Diego, is the founder of ART Compass, (www.artcompass.io) a mobile application platform for in vitro fertilization laboratory management. She was awarded the Manchester Community College Alumna of the Year award in 2019.
Today’s president and chief executive officer of MGM Resorts International, based in Las Vegas, grew up in Connecticut and got his start in the business at MCC.
The January 27 session runs from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and focuses on effective resume writing. This workshop will provide information on the skills and strategies needed to develop a visually appealing, competitive resume that gets positive response from employers. Additional sessions in effective resume writing run through February.
After earning three associate degrees and a certificate, Kenneth Sanders II ’17,’19,’20 is now a Pamela J. Craig Scholar at New York University Stern School of Business.
The free 75-minute workshops — covering effective resume writing and interviewing tips — will be conducted by WebEx and are open to the public.
