The Music Studies program prepares students for employment in music-related career or for transfer to a four-year college or university offering bachelor’s degree programs in music education, music technology, music business or music performance. Students who are thinking of transferring are encouraged to meet with their academic advisors to discuss how MCC courses transfer to other institutions. More information on the transfer options available at MCC can be found in the Transfer Services portion of the web site. Students who want to study music for their personal enjoyment can also choose from the courses in the Music Studies program to satisfy their general education core requirements or various associate degree program requirements.
